Magma Power

Magma Power

Welcome to the Magma-Power blog.
This is a place where ideas will be exchanged on the subject of power extraction from magma (the red hot stuff that lies deep below the surface of the earth).
Hopefully you have looked over the data that shows the extraction of steam, natural gas, hydrogen and Carbon Monoxide from magma chemistry is scientifically feasible. Also the paper out of Iceland by BRAGI ÁRNASON - Professor of Chemistry – that records that fact that Icelandic geothermal-vents release 191Million cubic feet of Hydrogen yearly. Bragi’s paper proves that magma chemistry will make Hydrogen in large quantities. In his case it has happen via a vent that was not man made, but man should be able to do the same thing worldwide.

The unmet challenge, which has frustrated me for years, is to engage one of the world governments or a large consortium of companies to demonstrate that it is an economically viable technology to drill into magma and create the chemistry that produces hydrogen and natural gas.

The USA Department of energy has targeted Hawaii and the easiest place to demonstrate the technology – that is on the big Hawaiian island

An introduction to the Magma Power Blog

This is the first post to the Magma Power blog hosted by blogger.com. Only 'Members' of the blog can create a new topic (known as a post). Members become members by accepting an 'Invitation', which can be sent only by a Member who also has 'Administrator' rights. Chuck Kezar is the founding member and therefore Admin of this blog. Anyone can comment on an existing post, they don't even need a blogger.com account.

The facility for anyone to post allows a forum of sorts. Replies to a reply (rather than replies to a post) are possible, resulting in branching 'threads'.

If you desire to become a Member in order to create your own posts (rather than replying to existing posts) you will need an Invitation from the Blog Administrator. Otherwise, if you want to discuss the blog in general, email Chuck Kezar.
